Six Sigma Champions - The Six Sigma Champion training is an intensive three-day course which prepares the operational business leader to foster cultural change throughout the Six Sigma deployment.

The champion - a member of the management team - has the following roles:

Translate and link identified critical business issues to projects selected for Black Belt resolution.

Identify Black Belt candidates, provide resources (people, money and time) and provide high management visibility, commitment and support to empower the teams for success.

Remove roadblocks and break down cross-functional barriers that impede project progress.

Monitor progress, provide strategic direction for projects and ensure that changes, improvements and solutions are implemented.

Officially announce the project completion after all objectives are met and documentation completed.

 Training Champions is critical to the success of deploying Six Sigma, as these individuals must link the organization's goals to Six Sigma projects.
